Sarah Palin, Femisogynist?

"The anti-gay, anti-Eskimo, anti-environment, anti-gay Eskimo environmentalist Ross is poised to become the top lawyer in Alaska. And in the state with the worst rate of sexual assault in the Union, Ross previously aired some views to the advocacy group "DADS" that may deter any young female from moving to Fairbanks for the long winter nights.

"If a guy can't rape his wife…who's he gonna rape"

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Numerous comments were made that were appalling, not the least of which were remarks by Mr. Ross which included the following; “If a guy can’t rape his wife…who’s he gonna rape?” and “There wouldn’t be an issue with domestic violence if women would learn to keep their mouths shut.”

McCain thought that women would vote for her because she shared a body shape, which says a lot about what he thinks of women. This is a prime example of why women rightfully rejected her.

This isn't the only thing that shows she is a misogynist. She billed rape victims for their rape kits. She fired the police commissioner because he insisted on going to a conference on sexual assault prevention (Alaska leads the nation in sexual assaults). She shut down funding for a home for pregnant teens. And even though she admits she considered her reproductive choices and says Bristol also exercised her right to reproductive choice, she wants to outlaw reproductive choice for all other women.

Hi Gnostix, This guy is a real creep. I sympathize with the Alaskans but am glad he is up there far away from me and mine. What compelled Palin to make such an unsuitable choice?

Her education, experience and leadership skills? Good thing he was rejected.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's either an old high school connection or a church connection. Those seem to be the basis for many of her appointments.
